“Seek justice: help the oppressed; defend the orphan; plead for the widow.”

Harvest Ukraine exists for such a time as this—serving Eastern Ukrainians in a deep crisis of identity, faith, and relationships by meeting practical needs and making disciples through the tangible love of Christ.

Stories of Hope

After surviving a rocket explosion just outside her home, Olga’s life was forever changed. In the aftermath of trauma and loss, the Harvest Ukraine team began visiting her, offering care, presence, and support. Through those visits, Olga found healing, renewed hope, and a new family within her local village church.

Kata’s village was occupied, forcing her and her husband into Russia before they escaped back home. What they returned to was unimaginable—the loss of their son and the destruction of their home. Through the Harvest Ukraine team, rebuilding began, and with it, a greater hope in Christ.

Tatiana and her sons escaped just before the invasion reached their village, while her husband was left behind—barely surviving missile attacks from their cellar. When the family returned to a destroyed home, the Harvest Ukraine team helped them rebuild and provided a heater that carried them through the winter, restoring warmth, stability, and renewed hope for the future.

Harvest Ukraine operates in Eastern Ukraine. Our missionaries are based in Poltava Oblast and serve Poltava and Eastern Ukraine. Life for those in Eastern Ukraine includes continuous fighting, threat, and destruction. Many of the villagers left are those without the means to leave, including many widows, elderly and poor families.

Where We Serve

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
